Hanxing Shi and Steven Alleston are invited speakers at the ACP 2025 conference in China
The Asia Communications and Photonics Conference (ACP 2025), 5–8 November 2025 is held in Suzhou, China, hosted by Soochow University. Lillian Chen, Sr. Director of Sales, APAC, at OpenLight is also attending for customer meetings.
OpenLight’s unique heterogeneous integration technology is crucial to manufacturing photonic components, including DFB lasers and 200G/400Gbps EAMs, at scale. This capability is essential to meeting the significant production requirements arising from the rapid growth in the optical communications and photonics technologies markets covered by the conference.
Hanxing Shi will speak on “Heterogeneously Integrated Silicon Photonics in Open Access PDK for LiDAR and Optical Interconnects”, in Track 4, Optoelectronic Devices and Integration at 16:30-17:00pm on Saturday, 8 November in the Grand Ballroom C, 2F, in a presentation co-authored by OpenLight employees Kimchau Nguyen, Beichen Wang, and Han Yun.
Steven Alleston will make a pre-recorded presentation on “Enabling High speed Interconnects for AI with Heterogeneous Integration”, in the Industry Forum - Optical interconnects for AI computing, at 10:45-11:00am on Saturday, 8 November in Function Room K4, 1F, where Hanxing is also one of the organizers.
