Dr. Steven Alleston to speak at the IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC) in Rome, this week.
Dr. Steven Alleston, Senior Director of Business Development at OpenLight, has been invited to speak at the IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC) in Rome, Italy, this Thursday 14th November.
The IPC is the IEEE Photonics Society’s annual, flagship meeting, covering a wide range of photonics subjects for its members. It is an academically focused event, which includes Plenary Sessions, Invited Talks, Panel Discussions, Tutorial Sessions, and Special Symposia.

Steve’s talk is part of the ‘Special Symposium on AI/ML Integrated Optoelectronics’ where he will cover ‘Applications for Heterogeneously Integrated Silicon Photonics’. This technology is well placed to meet the needs of AI and FMCW LIDAR, which demand high volume at challenging cost points.
